Back to GW
Hello Everyone!
Maybe its abit late to start again with GW. But GW2 will take a while still i bet Is this game still activly played? I havent played since Factions and i have 1 lvl 20 assasin. I am planning to make a new toon now as i will pretty much have to re-invent the whole game. Thinking about making a necro or one of them new classes. They ok in pvp? Any tips for the returning player? (pretty much regard me as a new player ) |

Well, the player base is getting smaller and smaller, after all, it is a 6 year old game by now. Still, people do play.
But even if you don't find people to play with, you'll be able to do just about everything with the AI henchmen and heroes. As for PvP, can't really help you there, since I'm a PvE player... |

You can always find a team to do missions specially the zaishen missions days.

It is harder to find a pick up group beside the zaishenmission/bounty (this changes daily and is a different bounty and mission every day).
Best way to get help and play together is to join a big and helpful guild. |

* Yes, GW2 is probably about a year off, at the very least.
* Don't delete your old assassin! It's probably already earned some pretty valuable birthday minis and will continue to earn more. --> You didn't really specify if you only have Factions...? * You'll need Nightfall to be able to make one of "them new classes." In PvE, Paragons and Dervishes are far from meta and are actually in need of some help (devs keep promising a dervish update, though). I have my doubts they're sought after in PvP, but I wouldn't know for sure. * If you intend to do any serious PvP, you'll want to have all campaigns so you can have all the skills that are expected of you. Doing this will also allow you to get through the PvE easier, with heroes, so you don't really have to rely on human teammates. * Adding Eye of the North will give you even more skills, heroes, open up War in Kryta (if you also have Prophecies), and a Hall of Monuments that you can start filling to get rewards in GW2. |
